In this photo, taken on Sunday, Jackson had really swollen gums, and, at one point on Sunday, they were purple and bleeding. Poor guy! He made the best of it, though, and blew raspberries with the blood in his mouth. Nice.So far, one tooth has popped through on the bottom, and one tooth has popped through on the top. Two more to go....for now!

Poor Jackson! Sam's top 4 front teeth all came in at once (over about 2 months, but the whole area was swollen)...but he never bled :( Did you use ambulsil? My Mom warned me against using it because kids don't know how much they're biting on something then end up cutting their gums, which just makes everything worse...
I only use ambulsil/oragel at night for Jackson. I use teething tablets during the day. It has bleed a couple times in the same area, but doesn't bleed that long, and, oddly enough, when it bleeds, it doesn't seem to bug him too much.
